Cochin Stock Exchange is the regional stock exchange of Kerala, which helped a lot in the growth of Stock Market investment in Kerala. Established in 1978, it offers trading facilities for investors through its 508 brokers.

The Programme.
CMED is a job-oriented course, which will give both the theory and practical exposure in classes in all aspects of Investment Management.
Course Outline
Once the Students pass the Final Exams (which will include the passing of NCFM’s certificate Exams in two modules.), they are likely to get absorbed at a reasonable salary by the existing firms who are facing severe shortage of qualified manpower. The course is so designed that the CMED diplomates will be able to set up independent profitable businesses in this line as soon as they come out after completing the course. Eligibility
The minimum educational qualification is graduation from a recognized University. As there is no age restriction, retired professionals, planning a new career can also apply for the course and others from the academic fields. No. Of Seats: 15 Selection
It will be on the basis of an interview.5 % weight age will be given to sponsorship by CSE Brokers.
Fee structure
Rs 15,000/- for the whole course .
Faculty
Faculty will be drawn from the well-experienced members of CSE and others
Practical Training
Practical training receives equal thrust along with classroom sessions. Candidates will be placed in professionally managed Broker’s Offices for concurrent and regular Market and Back Office exposure. Further, placement in a CSE member’s office for a continuous period of six months in the second half of the course.
Timing
Monday to Friday – 10.00. to 12 .00 Noon or 1.30 p.m to 3.30 p.m
The First Batch has already commenced the course on 1st July 2004.
