The Cochin Stock Exchange Ltd. decided to start a 100% subsidiary  called the Cochin Stock Brokers Limited (CSBL). CSBL was incorporated on 28-12-1999 having membership in National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange. CSBL’s depository division began operations in 2001, through CDSL.
